@RadioSwirly Both Newgrounds and DeviantArt are kind of dated compared to most modern social media/art sites. Even when compared to Meta/Facebook! I’m perfectly fine with this site essentially being run by older millennials just making fan art of Evangelion, FLCL, Sonic Adventure 2 and other now-ancient stuff that makes me nostalgic, at least, and the mobile experience is surprisingly good, but otherwise there is a reason why most people here are more active on Tumblr, YouTube or Twitter despite those sites’ well-documented issues.

@jthrash I think the only comparable system that came befrore Newgrounds is the BBS System. That makes Newgrounds the Ancient Birthplace of Cyberspace, in general. So, for Historical Purposes, all of this Content from the time Newgrounds first went online and on would be a Historical Artifact related to Neal Stephenson's Invention of The Metaverse.
